While in London for Men's Fashion Week, I was lucky enough to stay at The Corinthia: a magnificent hotel very conveniently nestled between Trafalgar Square, Big Ben and the Thames. The hotel is an imposing sight: standing proudly at the apex of a triangular block, facing the river.
When I checked in, two things stood out to me: the very friendly staff and the epic proportions of the lobby. In fact, when The Corinthia was built in 1885, it was the biggest hotel in Europe. Although it has since been overtaken, it is still among the most grand; the heritage and grand history are palpable.
During my stay, I discovered two further very important features. Firstly, an incredible dining room - situated at the apex/helm of the building - that served a mouth-watering buffet breakfast that I looked forward to throughout each day and night. Secondly, the hotel has a mind-blowing underground spa facility with swimming pool, spa, gym, beauty salon, and number of other amenities that I didn't get around to exploring. Rest assured, I made good use of the gym and pool, and of course the breakfast room, despite a hectic Fashion Week schedule.
Thanks to the lovely staff at The Corinthia for making my stay so easy and pleasant. #RECOMMEND
