TRAVELLING WITH CITIBANK AUSTRALIA

Sponsored Post by Citi Australia

I travel a lot: I travel for work, I travel for adventure, I travel for meetings, I travel for relaxation... I spend most of my life living out of a suitcase. Given my intense travel schedule, and how much time I spend away from Australia, I need a credit card that caters for international lifestyles. For me, this comes down to accruing Points from international spend, being able to exchange those Points for things that I value, and other additional benefits.

I am currently using a Citi Signature Credit Card, which has a lot of rewards that are relevant to me. First and foremost, Points accrued by using the card (Citi reward Points) are earned on both domestic and international transactions and can be used in a variety of ways. They can be redeemed on digital gift cards, flights, or frequent flyer Points. You can also exchange your Points for a statement credit, and pay for purchases made using the card.

On the subject of Points, in addition to accruing Points directly from spending, approved applicants will receive 120,000 bonus reward Points when they spend $3000 on their card within 90 days of approval. I'm a sucker for a great sign-up bonus, so I was eager to make the most of this offer!

Aside from the Points, there are a bunch of other rewards that are worth noting: - Complimentary Priority Pass membership with two airport lounge visits per year (hello, annual European summer holiday!) - Citibank Dining Program - Complimentary insurance cover programs such as International Travel Insurance, Purchase Protection Insurance and Extended Warranty Insurance - Visa Front Line Access membership, for exclusive access to presale ticket purchases - Apple Pay compatibility - 24/7 international concierge (I personally plan everything myself, but I know a lot of people who like to outsource this)

This offer expires 31st July 2018. Find more about the card here.
